“Chapter 1: The Background It's a Tuesday night, and I'm standing outside a trendy cocktail bar in the heart of Mumbai's business district. The neon glow from the sign above the entrance bathes the pavement in a flickering purple hue, casting shifting shadows over the small crowd gathered near the door. Smoked barbecue permeates the air from a nearby street vendor's grill. I check my watch. Right on time. Mariya had said to meet her here for drinks after work. Not that it's unusual—we've been friends for years, colleagues at a multinational consulting firm, often meeting up for casual dinners or drinks after especially long days. The air in Mumbai is always thick, but tonight it felt electric, humming with the kind of anticipation that usually precedes a storm. As I waited, I leaned against the cool brick wall, watching the city pulse around me. Mariya and I have a rhythm. We've worked side-by-side for three years, navigating the high-pressure environment of corporate consulting. She's the kind of woman who commands a room without raising her voice—intelligent, sharp, and possessing a playful streak that often catches people off guard. To most, she is the consummate professional; to me, she is the friend who knows exactly which brand of scotch I prefer and exactly how to challenge my ego with a single, arched eyebrow. The air in the bar was a heady mix of expensive cologne, citrusy gin, and the low, rhythmic thrum of deep house music. As I stepped inside, I spotted Mariya immediately. She was leaning against the mahogany bar, her silhouette framed by the warm amber lighting. She was wearing a deep emerald silk blouse that clung to her curves in all the right places, tucked into a high-waisted black pencil skirt that accentuated the elegant slope of her hips. When she saw me, her face lit up with a mischievous grin. "You're actually on time for once," she teased, her voice a smooth contralto that always seemed to vibrate slightly in the air. She turned fully to face me now, one hand resting comfortably on the bar as she took me in with an appraising gaze. I didn't miss how she did this—assessing, weighing, measuring. Her dark eyes gleamed with playful challenge. "Bartender will be over shortly," she said, tilting her head toward the mixologist in the corner, currently crafting a vibrant cocktail presentation that involved blue flames and dry ice. "But first, what's got you so distracted tonight?" I chuckled, pulling out the bar stool beside her. "I could ask you the same thing. You're looking particularly—" I paused deliberately, savoring the way her smirk deepened as she waited for me to finish. "—sharp," I finished, letting the word linger. "Though I suspect the outfit is designed to intimidate the board members, not just the rest of us." Mariya laughed, a rich, throaty sound that seemed to harmonize with the bass of the music. "Intimidation is a tool, darling. But tonight, I'm off the clock." She leaned in closer, the scent of her perfume—something like dark vanilla and sandalwood—wafting over me. It was an intoxicating aroma, one that always seemed to linger in my mind long after our meetings ended. I found myself drawn into the gentle heat of her body, the barstool between us seemingly irrelevant as she continued to close the distance. "In that case," I murmured, my voice taking on a lower, more intimate quality, "should I be worried that your outfit is still so distracting?" Mariya's smirk grew, and she turned fully to face me, one leg now crossed over the other in a way that accentuated the smooth curve of her calf. "Not unless you can't handle a little competition," she replied, her dark eyes glinting with amusement. I let my gaze linger, tracing the way her blouse pulled taut over her collarbones, the slender line of her throat. A third voice interjects smoothly, breaking the charged atmosphere. "Oh, I don't know, Mariya. Seems to me he's handling it just fine." Mariya's smile doesn't waver, but her attention shifts over my shoulder as she registers the newcomer. I glance toward the sound and immediately recognize Poonam leaning against the bar a few feet away. She's dressed in a fitted white dress that contrasts sharply with her honey-brown skin, the fabric clinging to her toned frame in a way that suggests she isn't wearing much underneath. Poonam meets my eyes with an expression that's amused yet hungry, her amber irises glinting in the bar's low light. "Mind if I join?" Mariya hums in amusement, giving Poonam a slow once-over. "Of course, you're welcome," she says smoothly, scooting her stool back just enough to make space. She sips from her cocktail glass, eyes flicking between us with a subtle smile. "Though I'm curious—are you really here to join us, or were you just hoping for an excuse to interrupt?" Poonam steps closer, sliding onto the vacated barstool beside me with fluid grace. She's warm against my side, her perfume—something light and floral with underlying spice—mixing with Mariya's darker notes in a way that's strangely complementary. Chapter 2: The Unexpected Situation The three of us formed a tight triangle at the bar, the space between us charged with a kind of familiar intimacy that was beginning to feel dangerously new. Poonam and Mariya had been friends long before they both crossed paths with me at the firm. While Mariya was the sharp, commanding force of nature, Poonam was more like a slow-burning fire—witty, observant, and possessing a quiet confidence that often surprised people who mistook her reserve for shyness. "So," Poonam said, her voice carrying a playful lilt as she ordered a spicy margarita. "What's the occasion?" You do You lets go to someones apartment and start getting sexual. The air at the bar had become too thick, the tension between the three of us vibrating like a plucked string. Every accidental brush of a shoulder, every lingering look, and the way Mariya and Poonam seemed to be communicating in a silent language of glances and smiles made it clear that the public setting was no longer enough. "This place is getting too loud," Mariya murmured, her voice dropping an octave as she leaned in, her breasts brushing against my arm. "And I think we've all had enough of the crowd." I felt a sudden surge of heat in my gut as Mariya's breasts pressed firmly against my bicep. The contact was intentional, a bold claim of territory that sent a jolt of electricity straight to my groin. I looked at Poonam, and the look in her amber eyes was unmistakable—she was craving the same thing. "My place is only ten minutes away," I said, my voice sounding rougher than usual. "And I have a bottle of vintage Bordeaux that's far too good to drink alone." The drive to my apartment was a blur of neon lights and heavy silence, though the silence wasn't empty; it was thick with anticipation. Poonam rode behind Mariya on my bike, her arms circling Mariya's waist possessively. I watched them in the rearview mirror as we sped through the crowded streets, the city's lights streaking past like colored ribbons. Every so often, Poonam would rest her chin on Mariya's shoulder, whispering something that made Mariya's lips curl into a smile. I felt her hands tighten around Mariya's waist, pulling her closer, and an unexpected pang of envy struck me hard. When we finally reached the building, the elevator ride up was torture. Mariya and Poonam stood close together, speaking in low, intimate tones that only served to heighten the tension. Poonam's fingers brushed against the side of Mariya's neck in a gesture so delicate it might have been accidental, but Mariya didn't pull away. Instead, she caught Poonam's wrist mid-motion, turning her head just enough to press a kiss to the inside of Poonam's palm before releasing her with a knowing smirk. My pulse raced as I unlocked the door, the sound unusually loud in the heavy quiet of the hallway. Inside, the apartment was dimly lit by the city lights filtering through tall windows. I closed the”
