The Editor's Understudy

Synopsis

Han Ryeon is a nameless outer-sect sweeper whose only role in the world-script is to die in the opening duel of the new Volume. When a typo lets him survive, he gains the ability to read golden margin notes and understudy any role for one scene by speaking that role's next line. Each stolen role creates a cut character who remembers being erased, while the Editor—a jealous former protagonist wielding a red pen—edits anomalies out. To survive the Season Finale, Han must steal the Editor's own line and rewrite the world before it is canceled.
