Three nights later, Yoon-seo sits before the shoebox again. The desk lamp makes the room feel like an interrogation room.

Yoon-seo empties the box and notices the cardboard bottom is slightly raised.

The sealed letter rests beneath the desk lamp. The flap is intact. Yoon-seo's hands hover on either side like scales.

Dawn washes the room pale. Yoon-seo has not slept and has not opened the letter.

At school, rain falls from the gym roof in silver strings. Do-hyun stands alone behind the building, having clearly avoided the classroom.

Yoon-seo gives him the sealed letter with both hands, making the choice visible.

Do-hyun opens the letter badly, hands too unsteady for care. Yoon-seo deliberately turns her face aside.

The letter's words remain unreadable to the viewer from this angle. The visual focus is Do-hyun's hands trembling hard enough to rattle the paper.

A brief visual impression of Yoon-ah at a desk writing, not supernatural, just the weight of handwriting. Then back to Do-hyun looking up.

Rain blurs the background. Do-hyun holds the letter out toward Yoon-seo as if it has become too heavy to own alone.

Close-up of the letter in Yoon-seo's hands. Rain and tears blur nearly every sentence. Only one line is sharp and readable in the center of the page.
