Several days later, Yoon-seo and Do-hyun leave school at the same time without looking at each other, both pretending it is coincidence.

They walk along a residential street lined with gingko trees and small fictional storefront signs.

They stop outside a corner store with fictional brand signs only: StarMilk, MelloPen, CloudBun.

For one minute, grief loosens its grip. The store window reflects them side by side but not overlapping.

Yoon-seo laughs openly under the gingko tree, the first unguarded expression Do-hyun has seen from her.

The laugh changes the street. Traffic sound seems to fall away, leaving only Do-hyun's expression.

Do-hyun says the sentence that turns resemblance into accusation.

The street stays ordinary: passing bikes, late sun, store signs. That makes the cruelty feel more naked.

Yoon-seo flees down the sidewalk before apology can become another injury.

At home, Yoon-seo faces the mirror with an old photo of Yoon-ah propped at the edge. The room is quiet and too clean.

The shoebox waits under the desk. Yoon-seo chooses not to open another letter tonight, but the box has become heavier.
