Synopsis

Fourteen-year-old Tasso Vereil is cast out of his silver-baron family by a wax seal that makes returning home legally impossible—and failing to claim a new name within sixty days fatal. His only weapon is stamp-magic: a personal seal that can bind one person to one exact clause for one year, but he has only three uses left and can never stamp the same person twice in a year.
