“Edi ith enta oru imagination il ulla idea ann.. But ithnta same emotions ann 'fool in love il'.. So waiting for that experience... Nalla pole potray cheyum enn vicharikunuu Krit never planned to fall in love with his stepbrother. He was still a teenager when he first met Pawin, a boy two years younger than him. Pawin was the first person who stood up for Krit when others bullied him. It was a small act of kindness, something Pawin probably forgot the moment it happened. But Krit remembered. He remembered everything. That single moment became the beginning of an attachment that slowly consumed his entire world. As the years passed, Krit grew accustomed to Pawin's presence. His calls, his messages, his attention, every little thing became a necessity. Pawin was the person Krit turned to first, the person he trusted most, and the one person he could never imagine losing. But Pawin saw him as family. When they became adults, Krit's carefully maintained world began to collapse. Pawin fell in love with a woman, trusting Krit enough to share every detail of their relationship with him. He expected his closest companion to be happy for him. Instead, Krit's jealousy turned into something dangerous. Unable to accept the thought of Pawin belonging in someone else's world, Krit crossed a line that could never be erased. He attempted to kill Pawin's girlfriend, believing that if she disappeared, he might finally get back the person he had spent years loving. But Pawin discovered the truth. For the first time, he looked at Krit with disgust instead of affection. When Krit finally confessed his feelings, Pawin responded with humiliation, cruel words, and a rejection that shattered whatever remained between them. He told Krit to disappear from his life. Those words followed Krit into the street that night. Overwhelmed by the rejection and the realization that he had destroyed his own happiness, Krit broke down. Moments later, a traffic accident left him fighting for his life in intensive care. He survived. But the person who came back was nothing like the Krit Pawin had known. Krit stopped talking. He stopped reaching out. The endless calls disappeared. The messages stopped. He no longer waited for Pawin, asked about his day, or searched for excuses to spend time with him. He withdrew into himself, building walls around a heart that had finally learned what it meant to be unwanted. Pawin initially believed this was for the best. Krit would eventually move on, and Pawin could return to his girlfriend without worrying about the brother who had become dangerously obsessed with him. Except something was wrong. The silence that once seemed like a blessing began to irritate him. Krit no longer cared where he went or whom he met. He no longer reacted when Pawin mentioned his girlfriend. Even when Pawin deliberately tried to provoke a response, Krit remained distant, answering only when necessary before returning to his own world. For the first time in years, Pawin was the one searching for attention. He began calling Krit for no particular reason, finding excuses to visit him, and asking questions that had never mattered to him before. He wanted to know why Krit had changed, why he no longer looked at him the same way, and why the person who once made him the center of his universe could now exist as though he barely mattered. Krit, however, was no longer the boy who would sacrifice everything for a moment of Pawin's affection. He had learned to hide his feelings behind indifference. He had learned that loving someone did not give him the right to possess them—and that being loved could never be forced. But Pawin couldn't understand why losing Krit's attention felt so much worse than he had expected. Was it guilt? Habit? Possessiveness? Or had he mistaken Krit's unconditional devotion for something he could never lose? As Pawin chased the brother who had once chased him, he began confronting feelings he had never needed to examine before. And Krit? Krit had spent years believing that Pawin was the only person who could make him feel alive. Now, he was determined to prove that he could live without him. Because the cruelest punishment wasn't being hated by the person you loved. It was watching that person finally want you only after you stopped wanting them.”
