Letters From Myself, Getting Angrier
Chapter 5
1/15
Panel 2

Soyeon accepts and reads the final ghost-letter. Its message is brutally short.

Panel 3

The relay ledger records the ghost-letter automatically, and Soyeon confirms the kiln-yard appointment from prior warnings.

Panel 4

Mira arrives with food and sees enough to know Soyeon is about to do something dangerous. Soyeon sends her away to stay safe.

Panel 5

Mira tries to stop Soyeon by naming the obvious danger. Soyeon refuses to bring her sister into the trap.

Panel 6

Soyeon packs the three stamps needed for her plan: true, forged, and blank.

Panel 7

Soyeon prevents her absence from becoming abandonment by filing the kiln-yard as a temporary relay annex.

Panel 8

Soyeon crosses the Salt Road under a moonless sky, avoiding patrols and heading for the abandoned kiln-yard.

Panel 9

The abandoned kiln-yard appears: broken kilns, dead clay, salt fog, and no moon.

Panel 10

Soyeon sets the true relay stamp in the kiln-yard to anchor the ghost-stamp event.

Panel 11

Soyeon uses the forged intake stamp to create bait for the laundering route she wants to expose.

Panel 12

Soyeon prepares the blank stamp and explains the witness clause in simple terms.

Panel 13

With the trap set, Soyeon waits. The knife feels inadequate against the idea of meeting herself.

Panel 14

The ghost-stamp event begins. The trap responds, proving that the kiln-yard has become part of the relay for this moment.

Panel 15

The witness clause starts recording the event, but a voice from the relay-light shows that someone expected Soyeon's plan.

Panel 16

Future-Soyeon approaches through the relay-light, still partly obscured. Present-Soyeon tries to keep control of the conversation.
