Return Address

The refusal tears the summoning mark off Kenzie's chest and sends it back into Mother Sable's undercroft circle — and into her. The Order collapses with its contract. In the rubble, Kenzie realizes the returned parcel now has an address on it, and it is an address he can travel to: the place his own letter was mailed from. He keeps the empty box. Somewhere above the fog, a bell rings, and a friendly voice says good morning.
