Synopsis

Kang Ian is an E-rank porter with a forbidden gift: he can absorb any wound, curse, or death into his own body and transfer it to someone else. He uses it to keep his little sister Soo-ah alive as gate sickness slowly turns her into a gate. When the Cheongang Guild offers him her only cure in exchange for absorbing their S-rank hero's fatal curse, Ian becomes a living dump for the powerful. But every burden he carries leaves a mark that monsters can smell, and every transfer is a choice between family, friends, and strangers. As he uncovers the truth—gates are wounds on reality, and high-rank guilds have spent decades moving their costs onto low-rank hunters—Ian must decide who will carry the suffering he cannot destroy.
